1-1 last week, let's try again. So far only two plays but I have my eye on one more....

Pitt +3.5 -107 CanBet

San Fransisco +3 -107 CanBet

I think either one or both of these could win without any points. Two quality teams to be getting points with. Good luck guys, probably going to be adding one more before the week is up.

Pat, I can't see Steelers beating KC at home or KC not covering 3.5. My play for this week is Packers -6.5 at home to Detroit.

Really like SF +3. It's going to get worse before it gets better for St. Louis. People need to realize they're not the same team they were a couple years ago.

Bulger is starting this game now. I think considering the recent success you saw Bulger have last season compared to what Warner did, this could be a difference maker. Warner may have played his last game for the lambs. Bulger could spark this team despite the idiotic bonehead plays by Mike Martz

Adding one more....

Carolina +10 Rio

I know most are on the other side of this game too. I like to play against teams from Monday night the next week and I think Carolina will play good defense Sunday. They seem to match up well and have given the Bucs some scares in the past. Don't know about a win but I can see them covering this number.....

I like this Steeler team, we will find out more about them Sunday though. I don't think KC will have near the same success on offense this week. If Steelers can score some points and I have no reason to think they won't, I expect a close game. Getting the hook was the extra that ended up putting me on the play. I think they might win this game actually.

I really like Minny to win in a blowout. Can the Bears win ONE game with that O-line?

Your not kidding.

As long as Martz is the coach, this team ain't going anywhere.

i don`t know how much validity i`d give the 49er win over chicago last week....chicago is that bad....

and how many times have you seen a team throw down a 30 or 40 spot and come up flat as a board the next week.....

personally, with bolger playing and faulk assuredly getting many more touches,i like the rams chances....take warner out of the equation and the rams would have had a shot at stealing the giant game....

but of course, there`s martz.....he`s worth about 6 points to the niners...(as in passing on 2 sure field goals...lol)....

bought the half and got the steelers at 4....they impressed me last week beating the piss outta my ravens...

also looking at that big 10 with the panthers...

g.l.,guys....

Is the home field really that much of an advantage in the SF/StL game??? The Rams suck and Bulger can only make so much of a difference. SF is hitting on all cylinders. I cannot believe they are a dog in this game.

Don't forget an 0-5 Rams team beat a 5-0 Raiders team in St.Louis last year. I still havent decided on this game yet. But I do agree with everyone here in the fact that Martz is horrible. Has got to be the most stupid and stubborn coach there is.

Be careful about betting the 9ers here. This line is a classic trap game. Rams looked so awful last week, and 9ers looked like superbowl champs. Why are the 9ers dogs?

Perhaps people are forgetting that when Bulger came on last year, they won 5 in a row as he passed for 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns. And Marshall was injured then, he's healthy now.

Thanks for all the great recommendations. I was gonna bet the Jets, but the consensus here is that the Fins want to un-humiliate themselves rather badly right now, and I agree. So I'll sit that game out, and thank you guys for saving me some bucks.

Of course, I like it when the consensus agrees with me. Then even if my bets lose, I know I'm in good company.

I even like it when there is no real consensus, like with Tenn at Indy. I had already planned to sit that one out as too close to call.

But what's most likely to save me the bucks is when you guys generally disagree with my call. I may not like to hear the truth -- who likes to hear they're probably wrong -- but I'm definitely gonna keep coming back for more.

Sorry on the game but my Packers kicked ass. I had a huge sum on that one. Good luck next week.
